The flag of Taihan is an emblem adopted in 2015 featuring the Azure Dragon on a plain white field with the red sun of the three legged crow in the upper left corner. It became the second national flag of Taihan and is usually referred to as the "Dragon Flag of the Rising Sun".

Design[]

Yellow is considered the Imperial colour of successive Taihanese emperors. Members of the imperial family of Taihan are the only ones allowed to display the color yellow in imperial household and on garments. The Emperor of Taihan usually used a Chinese Dragon as a symbol of his imperial power and strength. Generally, a five-clawed dragon was used for emperors only.

In Taihanese culture, a rising sun is shown on top of the dragon's head. The sun is associated with sucession, good luck, and prosperity.
